Soukyuu no Fafner: Dead Aggressor- Exodus 2nd Season

In 2150 A.D., 2 years after the first festums attacks, a small island called Tatsumiyajima is pulled into the battle. Festums are silicon-based beings from outer space. The North Pole Mir was scattered throughout the world and started acting on their own. Most hated humanity and attacked them. However, some coexisted with humankind. And others, with the same way of thinking, existed with in the human race, those who were born half-human and half-Festums.

Tatsumiyajima , a central island in a small cluster of sleepy backwater Japanese isles, is humanity's last defense. The young people of the island, who have been taught that their lives will remain peaceful and undisturbed, are thrown into the fray of a battle for humankind's existence against foreign, hostile and incomprehensible enemies. At the center of all the fighting is the giant robot, Fafner, the dragon that guards the final treasure of mankind.
