Oakland Raiders owner Mark Davis says the team will paint the 50-yard line markers at the Coliseum gold once the baseball season ends.

Davis was responding to questions about why the "50" was not in gold the first two weeks in Oakland like it is for other teams as part of a commemoration of the upcoming 50th Super Bowl.

Davis said Wednesday the team is waiting until the Athletics' baseball season finishes. The team doesn't paint the end zones or the team's shield on the field until after baseball season. Davis says the 50s will be in gold for the next home game, Oct. 11 against Denver.

The Coliseum is the only NFL stadium to also be used by a baseball team.
